SUMMARY:Fall Clean Up Day at White Columns
DESCRIPTION:We will meet at Nott House at 9:00 AM on Saturday\, October 29\, with coffee and donuts provided\nWe will focus on bed cleanup\, selected hedge trimming\, hydrangea deadheading\, and on our front hedge:  it needs a lot of TLC\, as we will be removing the non performing (north) end of the hedge\, digging up the area and adding new loan preparatory to planting fresh hedge in the spring.  At that time\, actually late winter\, we’ll also be cutting the existing\, lealthy hedge back a good bit so as to lower the overall height and – ideally – get it to run straight.  A big project\, but we’re only biting off a bit for now!\nWe could use a lot of folks this time – no skills required! Invite a friend!\nPlease bring (if you have them) loppers\, shovels\, tarps\, hedge trimmers\, rakes\, clippers and anything else you think might help. Gloves are recommended.
