SUMMARY:Girls Night Out: Mossariums
DESCRIPTION:GIRLS NIGHT OUT: MOSSARIUMS\nWith Ann Thompson\nMay 19th at 7pm\nLocated at the Town House School (135 North Street in KPT)\n  \nHistory tells us that women often got together to share in their everyday duties such as mending/quilting & washing. When the washing machine was invented\, it saved women hours of work\, but society noticed one thing: depression rates grew and nobody knew why. One conclusion was that it wasn’t the work of doing the laundry that the women missed\, it was the camaraderie of being among other women. \nThese past two years left many of us isolated once again. Friends limited their social visits and many people remained in their homes. \nTo honor history by gathering community women to share historic crafts & hobbies\, but also stories\, the Kennebunkport Historical Society introduces\, “Girl’s Night Out”. \nSign up with your friends or come out and meet community women! \n  \nHistoric crafts and hobbies \nThursdays\, 7PM\, BYOB \n$35 Members \n$37 Non-Members \nMaterials included unless otherwise noted \nTo sign up\, please click here!
