Built in 1853, White Columns is one of the Kennebunkport Historical Society’s premier properties. Owned and loved by the same family for 130 years, the Victorian-era home has retained its old-world charm and still contains the home’s original furnishings.

Purchase your tour ticket online and redeem it at White Columns during any of our operating hours. Tours are available on the hour, and your ticket can be used at any time, with no need to reserve a specific date. Please note, each tour is limited to 20-25 participants, and availability is first-come, first-served. To ensure your spot, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before your preferred tour time. Simply print your ticket and bring it with you when you visit! Tickets will also be available in the gift shop based on availability.

Experience the history of Kennebunkport’s Dock Square on the only official walking tour offered by the Kennebunkport Historical Society, led by historian Sharon Cummins. Enjoy a guided exploration filled with the social, cultural, and architectural stories of the people who lived here. This 45-minute to 1-hour tour covers approximately 3/4 of a mile along uneven sidewalks with slight elevation, so please be mindful of this when reserving your spot. During the tour, guests will get a close-up view of the homes and streets of historic Kennebunkport, with engaging narratives about the architecture and the families who built them.

Come join us for a fun-filled day of cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus!

Get into the festive spirit and unleash your creativity as you decorate delicious cookies alongside Mrs. Claus herself! Ticket price of $15 is for one person (cookies, cookie boxes, decorating materials & story time with Mrs. Claus).

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a morning of laughter, holiday music, and sweet treats. Mrs. Claus will guide you through various decorating techniques, providing tips and tricks along the way, and read Christmas stories! You’ll have the chance to create your own edible masterpieces using an array of colorful icings, sprinkles, and other festive decorations.

Tickets are sold in 30 minute increments. Adult supervision required.

The Christmas Carol Sing-Along, hosted by the Kennebunkport Historical Society, is an event for seniors and their friends, featuring Patricia Mulholland. It will take place on Thursday, December 12th, at 1:00 PM at The Town House School, located at 135 North St. in Kennebunkport.

Attendees can enjoy festive carol singing, and on-site parking will be available. Tickets are priced at $12 for non-members and $10 for members. This is a community-focused holiday event designed to bring people together for an afternoon of music and celebration.
