Mid-Week Music: Initials JR

Bassist John Kumnick’s jazz group Initials JR, which includes drummer Dylan Kumnick, guitarist Max Cantlin, and keyboardist Emmett Harrity, will perform a mix of original and classic instrumentals. And since John has played with a notable roster of musicians, including David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, and Chuck Berry, they will perform some of their songs, with guest vocalist Gina Alibrio at the mic; the tunes will be interspersed with tales of John’s interactions with those legendary performers.
