Mid-Week Music: Sam Cooke

During his eight-year career, Sam Cooke recorded 29 singles that made it into the Billboard Top 40 chart. Tonight, keyboardist Mark Gunter, percussionist Jim O’Neil, and guitarist Dana Pearson will sing many of those hits (e.g. “Another Saturday Night,” “Twisting the Night Away,” “Wonderful World”), along with the entirety of his 1963 album, “Night Beat.”
